Since I Dream of Jeannie Online arrived on the internet it has been owned and operated completely by Patterson Lundquist. Creator of the original "Wonderful World of Jeannie" in 1995, Patterson set out to bring to the internet the first, biggest and most well known I Dream of Jeannie fan-site to date. In 1997 the domain idreamofjeannie.com was purchased and 'The Wonderful World of Jeannie' received a complete make-over. With a complete redesign, a new name (I Dream of Jeannie Online) and official dot com status, I Dream of Jeannie Online took the internet by storm. Recognized from the United States to Australia IDoJOnline began nabbing attention from the casual viewer to hardcore fans across the globe. Recognized by the Cinemedia website (a subsidiary of The American Film Institute) for quality information, media and presentation in 1996. Rated a B+ by Ann Limpert of Entertainment Weekly, a Webcrawler "Site of the Day" and featured in Australia's "Who Weekly" as a top rated pick, IDoJOnline went from casual fan website, to international sensation. As time would progress IDoJOnline would be contacted by various television news magazines, printed media outlets and biographical programs as a virtual online 'archive' of material. To date I Dream of Jeannie: Online is the top online source for I Dream of Jeannie material. Utilized by E! Entertainment Television during the production of the I Dream of Jeannie E! True Hollywood Story, Tangible Dreams Entertainment provided various photography as well as consultation and remote fact fiding for E! News. In 1998 the Donny and Marie Show contacted I Dream of Jeannie: Online for help in the production of the first complete cast reunion on their show. As time progressed various news and cable agencies would come into contact with I Dream of Jeannie: Online, including The Biography Channel, MSNBC's Headliners and Legends, E! News, Entertainment Tonight, Entertainment Weekly, Who Weekly, Unlimited Magazine and many more. Ultimately I Dream of Jeannie: Online has become the source for photographic, reference and historical data on I Dream of Jeannie. With virtually hundreds of photos in it's archives (ranging from on set, never-before-seen shots to promotional shots not seen since the mid 1960's) plus knowledge of every single episode of the television sitcom America fell in love with, I Dream of Jeannie: Online continues, after twelve years to be the ONLY place in Cyberspace for I Dream of Jeannie. |

A HISTORY OF TANGIBLE DREAMS ENTERTAINMENT
As the internet has expanded and grown it has become a virtual sandbox. Anyone can log on and create a site that has the potential to reach millions if not billions of people. I Dream of Jeannie: Online began in a manner very close to that. Created and maintained by Patterson Lundquist, Out of the Bottle Publishing began in the early 1990's as an I Dream of Jeannie fanzine. Each month, subscribers (a closely knit group of fans) would receive a magazine, three to four pages deep, folded in thirds. The fanzine was called "Jeannie's Bottle" named after the iconic glass prison Jeannie called home. Only this fanzine used the imagery in a stark contrast to the television show. Instead of confinement, Jeannie's Bottle would begin with the hopes of providing a rare grouping of information, photography and interviews surrounding the television sitcom. As time would progress the production costs and time required to issue a monthly fanzine would take it's toll on Patterson. As 1994 approached, "Jeannie's Bottle" would ultimately fold permanently. However only a mere months away the dawn of I Dream of Jeannie on the internet was approaching.
After becoming connected to the online community Out of the Bottle Publishing picked up where it left off and opened "The Wonderful World of Jeannie." As the printed publication of "Jeannie's Bottle" had a limited focus (due to production constraints) the internet proved to be capable of a wider range of material at pennies on the dollar. As time would progress 'The Wonderful World of Jeannie" would grow and expand. After documenting the appearance of Barbara Eden at The Kennedy Space Center in Florida, Out of the Bottle Publishing would soon unveil the new site "I Dream of Jeannie: Online." After various trips to Hollywood, countless telephone conversations with various dealers and archivists I Dream of Jeannie: Online would expand and grow. Recognition from various online sources would boost and promote the effort, tirelessly poured into the site. As the 1990's drew to a close the new millennium would bring about the closing of Out of the Bottle Publishing along with the birth of Tangible Dreams Entertainment.
Over those first five Patterson found that basing his production on only "I Dream of Jeannie" was hurting him more than it was helping. As 2000 deepened into 2001 Tangible Dreams Entertainment was created. Focusing not only on I Dream of Jeannie, Tangible Dreams expanded is repertoire widely into the pop culture genre. This would prove to bring both Tangible Dreams as well as it's owner Patterson Lundquist closer to a larger audience, as well as the subjects which drew the same crowds. Since then Tangible Dreams Entertainment has had solid affiliation with Queen 'B' Productions, Ray Productions and ICC Designs with work reaching as far as Busch Gardens, Universal Studios, New Line Cinema, MGM Studios and Walt Disney Studios.
Moving forward from online publication and archiving, Tangible Dreams Entertainment has split into two divisions. One now specializes in print media advertising, original fiction development, graphic design, streaming media and flash authoring. While the other focuses on special effects make-up, set design, prop fabrication, costuming and celebrity impersonation.
In the fall of 2006 Tangible Dreams Entertainment bridged the gap from a one time 'fan website/fanzine' company to an official vendor/consultant and archivist for Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Sony contacted Patterson in the fall of 2006 to collaborate on the design of "I Dream of Jeannie: The Complete 3rd Season DVD Boxed Set." After such invaluable contributions as accurate episode synopsis and cartoon recreations Sony has asked Patterson to continue his work further in the following fourth and fifth season sets.
What began so many years ago as a simple online website has expanded and grown into a full, free contract production studio reaching from horror and the macabre to fantasy and America's favorite Jeannie.
